Who's Behind The Brand...

La’Toni Cromes is the founder and owner of Stated (& nem), LLC. Hailing from the inner city of Rochester, NY, she prides herself on staying true to her roots while never being afraid to replant herself to grow to new heights and depths. She holds an M.A. in English and African American Literature from North Carolina A&T State University (NCAT); a B.A in English also from NCAT; an A.A. in Liberal studies from Monroe Community College, and certificates of several trades.

La’Toni served a year with Rochester Americorps where her passions for student advocacy and engagement were unveiled. Her vision for Stated is to pay it forward and pay it back to the individuals and programs that positively impacted her and her family. She is an educator by nature and nurture while also being a student of life; constantly learning from her students, peers, various communities, and the world around her.
